ACTING FOR FILM AND TV LONDON (SHOWREEL)
• Acting For Screen with a Director. 2 x sessions. The first 2 sessions cover the principles of screen acting.
• Auditioning for Film & TV. Agent 2 x sessions. These sessions cover the various skills required for auditioning for Film TV and Commercials. Marketing the actor is also covered in these sessions.
• The Casting process for Film and TV. Working Casting Directors 2 x sessions. An opportunity for actors to find out what casting directors look for, how to approach casting directors. Learning a script and how to approach it at an audition.
• Screen Acting Skills 2 x sessions a chance to learn and discover the various methods of screen acting. These sessions are very much on a practical level and actors will be given a chance to see their on screen progression.
The last 2 sessions are run at Pinewood Film Studios where actors will film various scenes for their show reel. The show reel is professionally edited by Outpost here at Pinewood Studios. The finished show reel is approximately 1-2 minutes long and is ideal for Spotlight and Websites. Actors will also have the opportunity of adding any additional material.
All tutors on this course are working professionals' and as a result are subject to change. However Actors Studio assures the highest possible standards of tutors and production for the course and show reel.
This course is aimed at professional actors wanting to learn the particular skills required for screen acting and culminates in a professionally filmed and edited show reel.

A unique opportunity to learn and develop the skills required for Acting in Film & TV.

The course will train you in basic film acting techniques, enabling you to assess your potential to work in film or television. Acting experience is not necessary, but if you have some, so much the better. Students are aged 18 and above, and numbers are kept to around 16 for each class to ensure that individual attention can be given to each student.
