Nic Phillips began his career in the film industry in 1968, and has been a TV director and producer since 1979. Working accross many genres, his credits include Doctors, Jasper Carrott, Aspel and Co, The Bill, Birds of a Feather, Brookside, Grange Hill, Desmonds, The Detectives and, entrancingly, the Hypnotic World of Paul McKenna! His most recent work includes Eastenders, My Family, and Casualty, all prime-time shows for BBC1.
He began screen-performance coaching in 2006, and teaches for the Guildford School of Acting and the Actors Studio at Pinewood. He is currently the lead director on a new comedy series for Nickelodeon/RDF.
Valerie Colgan graduated from LAMDA in 1961 and has been working as an actress and teacher for the last 48 years. As an actress Valerie has appeared in many productions most notabably 'Aliens' and 'Saving Private Ryan'. During her illustrious career Valerie has also worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company aswell as appearing in many radio and television productions. As a teacher Valerie has worked at several major drama schools and has a wealth of experience in teaching all levels of Acting. Valerie has been teaching for Actors Studio since it began.
Michael Hargreaves having trained as a director at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in the 1970s, Michael began his career in the theatre. Whilst a student he worked with young aspiring actors who have gone on to become household names, such as Alan Rickman,Trevor Eve and many others. Michael works extensively in the corporate world aswell as working with Actors. He particularly specialises in public speaking, presentation skills and voice work. Throughout his career Michael has continued to use his skills within the Arts media and is currently tutoring at Actors Studio and RADA.
